Methods of Application

1. Massage

Aromatherapy massage is one of the best ways to experience aromatherapy essential oils, combining the benefit of touch and the therapeutic effect of the essential oils. Massage relaxes muscles and improves circulation and lymph flow, soothes physical tension and relieves mental stress.


Recommended dilutions for Massage Oils

For adults:

2% dilution = 4 drops of essential oil per 10ml of base oil

3% dilution = 6 drops of essential oil per 10ml of base oil

5% dilution = 10 drops of essential oil per 10ml of base oil

2. Bath

A comforting bath detoxifies, relaxes muscles, restores the body and pampers the skin as you soak. And with a few drops of the right therapeutic grade essential oils, an otherwise average bath becomes a spa treatment tailored to the needs of your body and mind.

1. Bath elixir | Mix 2 – 12 drops of BBS Essential Oil Blends into a teaspoon of a dispersing agent such as natural non-fragrance bath gel, add to bath and stir just before entering water.

2. Bath milk | Add 2-12 drops of BBS Essential Oil Blends to a cup of whole milk. Add to bath and stir just before entering water. The oils will bond with the fats in the milk. The milk creates a protective layer that prevents skin irritation.

Note:

For children between the ages of 4 and 12, as well as for elderly people, only add 2-4 drops of oil per bath. Recommend lavender essential oil “Lavandula angustifolia” only.

For children between 1 and 4, as well as for pregnant women, add only 1 drop of oil per bath. Recommend lavender essential oil “Lavandula angustifolia” only.
